Death notice The PTCI has just lost an imminent actor of its program, professor Karamoko Kané, the former Director of the PTCI from 1999 till 2004. Malian nationality , he was Professor of Economics at the University Cheikh Anta Diop University in which he performed until 1999 , most of his academic and professional career.After a doctoral thesis in economics dedicated to the applications of the analysis input - output in the problems of economic integration in western Africa, he was classified chief warrant officer of the third competition of aggregation in economics organized in Dakar, by the Conseil Africain et Malgache pour l'Enseignement Supérieur (CAMES). 
Handing over to PTCI After four years at the head of the Directorate of PTCI Professor Kimseyinga Savadogo  gave way this morning March 28, 2014 Professor Rufin -Willy Mantsié , from University Marien NGOUABI Brazzaville in Congo.The appointment comes after the Board of PTCI , which took place on March 21 passed in Dakar, Senegal . The handover ceremony, full of emotion, took place in the headquarters of PTCI in Ouagadougou, under the chairmanship of Professor Thiombiano, Executive Secretary CIEREA.Professor Savadogo officially handed over the administrative and financial statements of the program and the status of activities pending to the new Director, before thanking the staff, who accompanied him throughout his tenure, for the exemplary collaboration.
Meeting of the PTCI’s Board Directors in Dakar The Board of directors of the PTCI was renewed by the CIEREA initiator of the PTCI and its first meeting is kept from 21 till 22 in March in the hotel Novotel of Dakar, in Senegal. Took part in this meeting: - Professor Ahmadou Aly MBAYE, President of the Executive committee of the CIEREA; - Professor Hervé DIATA, representing the Deans of the member faculties of the CIEREA; - Professor Taladidia THIOMBIANO, Executive Secretary of the CIEREA; - Professor Etienne E . EHILE, representing the Association of the African Universities ( AUA); - Mister Abdoulaye DIOP, representing the Civil Society;
Representatives of the DAAD visited PTCI The PTCI received a courtesy visit of a mission of the Deutscher Akademischer Austauch Dienst ( DAAD), one of his main financial partners. The mission, compound of Central Head of section and West Africa Michael Hörig, of Head of division development Co-operation and Alumni Programmes, Stefan Bienefeld and  of the representative of the DAAD in Ouagadougou, Melanie David, met the team of the PTCI to exchange on the collaboration which exists since 2008. The meeting mostly layed an emphasis on capacity buildings and technical support .
